Plymouth brunch splits three ways: the Old Village diners, the downtown patio tables, and a couple of rooms out on Five Mile and Beck. Pick by how long you are willing to wait.

## Old Village

Crawford's Kitchen at 542 Starkweather St is the neighborhood brunch — patio seats, a steady crowd, and the kind of room where the staff recognize regulars. It is the first place to try on a Sunday.

## Downtown

Omelette & Waffle Cafe at 580 Forest Ave does exactly what the sign says, has outdoor seating, and is a block off Kellogg Park. Plymouth's Brunch House at 880 Fralick St is the other downtown-adjacent option and tends to move faster when Forest Ave backs up.

Grand Traverse Pie Company at 41640 Ann Arbor Rd is the compromise pick: patio tables, a full breakfast menu, and pie you were not planning on.

## West side

French Toast Bistro Plymouth at 40370 Five Mile Rd is the highest-rated dedicated breakfast room in town and worth the drive out from downtown. Lavash Mediterranean Grill at 15015 Beck Rd is the outlier — Mediterranean plates instead of pancakes, and the best rating of any brunch spot in Plymouth.

## Classic diner

Zack's of Plymouth at 9468 S Main St is the no-frills version: fast, cheap, no wait worth complaining about.

## Beating the line

Sunday between 10:00 and noon is the peak. Arrive before 9:30 or after 1:00 and most of these rooms seat you immediately. Crawford's and French Toast Bistro are the two where showing up early actually matters.

## If you just want coffee and a pastry

Boule Artisan Bakery at 880 W Ann Arbor Trail, then Kellogg Park. That is a legitimate Plymouth brunch too.
