Plymouth is built for a slow Saturday. Almost everything below sits within a few blocks of Kellogg Park, so park once on Penniman or Forest and walk.

## Morning

Start at Plymouth Coffee Bean, 884 Penniman Ave. It is the downtown living room: counter service, free Wi-Fi, outdoor seats when the weather cooperates, and occasional live music. If you would rather have something warm in a bag, Helen's Bakery at 963 W Ann Arbor Trail and Boule Artisan Bakery at 880 W Ann Arbor Trail are a two-minute walk from one another on the same stretch.

Take it into Kellogg Park on W Ann Arbor Trail. The fountain, the benches and the surrounding blocks are the reason downtown Plymouth feels like a town square rather than a strip.

For lunch, Maya's Deli inside 550 Forest Ave is a quick, well-rated counter stop. Nearby, The Burger Spot in the same Forest Ave building has a patio, and Beyond Borders Latin Street Food at 810 S Main St does fast, fresh plates with sidewalk seating.

If the afternoon is yours, walk north to Old Village and Starkweather Street, where Meridian Coffee Co. at 636 Starkweather St gives you a second coffee in a quieter room.

Dinner is a Main Street decision. The Sardine Room at 340 S Main St leans small plates, cocktails and a bit of buzz. Compari's On the Park at 350 S Main St sits directly on the square with patio tables. Park Place Gastropub at 336 S Main St is the casual pick — happy hour, trivia nights and a full bar.

Finish with a pint at Arbor Brewing Plymouth Taproom, 777 W Ann Arbor Trail, or a nightcap at Hidden Spirits Cocktails on Five Mile Rd if you are heading west anyway.

That is the day: one parking spot, about a mile of walking, and no reservations required except at dinner.
