A Coffee Crawl Through Downtown Plymouth

Plymouth has more good coffee per block than a town this size should. Do the first three on foot and drive the last two only if you are still standing.
## Stop one: Plymouth Coffee Bean, 884 Penniman Ave
The downtown institution. Woman-owned, cozy, with Wi-Fi, outdoor seating, and live music some evenings. Order at the counter and take a window seat; this is the room where downtown Plymouth actually talks to each other.
## Stop two: Plymouth Roast, 110 Ann Arbor Rd
A short walk south. Smaller, focused on the coffee itself, and the right stop if you want a bag of beans to take home rather than a place to sit for an hour.
## Stop three: Meridian Coffee Co., 636 Starkweather St
Head north into Old Village. Meridian is the quiet one — casual, cozy, laptop-friendly, with outdoor seats and dogs welcome outside. If you only have time for two stops, make this the second.
## Stop four: ALWADI COFFEE, 44601 Five Mile Rd
West side, and worth the drive. It matches Meridian on rating and gives you a different room entirely.
## Stop five: Scooter's Coffee, 1490 Ann Arbor Rd
The drive-through finish, for the day you are running late rather than crawling.
## Pace it
Order a small at every stop. Add a pastry break at Boule Artisan Bakery, 880 W Ann Arbor Trail, or Helen's Bakery at 963 W Ann Arbor Trail — both are on the walk between Penniman and Ann Arbor Trail.
## Best time to go
Saturday between 8:00 and 11:00. Every shop is open, downtown parking is still easy, and Kellogg Park is a block from three of these stops if you want to drink the last one outside.
